Inflatable toy provides hours of fun for children and young adults at parties, carnivals, fairs and school activities. Since most schools, churches and other organizations that use inflatables don't have the money to purchase them, they opt to rent them from a business that specializes in providing inflatables. You can rent to these organizations by learning how to start an indoor inflatable toy business.
Purchase inflatable toys. Get new inflatables from manufacturers, such as Zhengzhou Wolong. Select both small and large inflatables to fit the different sizes of indoor locations. Buy a wide selection of inflatables to increase the products and services you can offer your clients.
Obtain additional equipment. Find a trailer to haul inflatables to and from locations. Purchase extension cords and power plugs needed to run the inflatables during the event. Consider acquiring a dolly or wheeled platform to assist in loading and unloading inflatables from the trailer.
Protect your business. Purchase liability insurance to protect your business from lawsuits by a person injured on your inflatables. Draft a general liability release form for people to sign that waives your responsibility in the event they are injured. Hire a lawyer to review the liability form prior to using it with clients.
Hire staff. Find people who are able to assist with set up and tear down of the inflatables inside a building. Employ staff to monitor people using the inflatables to ensure they wear appropriate safety gear and remove shoes and sharp objects that could puncture the inflatable. The latter staff also enforce limit numbers for each inflatable, so it doesn't break or pop with too many people on it.
Market the business. Promote an indoor inflatables business to schools, community centers and churches for carnivals, kid days, fairs and other activities. Advertise to parents seeking entertainment for birthday parties, who have an indoor location rented for the party that can accommodate the inflatables. Consider purchasing your own indoor facility to create a permanent indoor inflatable business for parents to reserve and use for their children's parties and activities.
