Most kids love to jump, bounce and expend their endless energy. They can easily do this with inflatable toys. Large, soft and not incredibly expensive, inflatable toys for kids have evolved from the carnival's moon walk to things folks can keep in their own backyard. Many types are available with a number of features and for a fairly reasonable cost.
A wide array of different types of inflatable toys for kids is on the market. Inflatable gyms, slides, wrestling arenas and trampolines are several options. Play houses, water slide set-ups and soccer ball pits are others. Bright colors, big bumpers and lots of air are the foremost features of inflatable kid toys. Inflatable toys usually come with stakes to secure them safely into the ground and an air blower that fills them up and keeps them filled. The toys will often include a repair kit for a quick fix of any tears or leaks. Some can be used both indoors or out, while others, such the water slide set-ups, would be preferable outdoors.
Inflatable toys for kids are not something folks can stick in their back pockets and haul to the park. They are quite large and are best inflated using some type of blower or pump. An inflatable gym with slide, for instance, can measure up to 9 feet long, 12 feet wide and 6 feet high. Smaller inflatable kid toys are still not that tiny. A pseudo wrestling set-up is 8 feet square.
Parents who do want to wheel their kids' inflatable toys around can certainly do so. It's best to deflate them first, of course, and find an easy way to carry them around. One option is a duffel bag with wheels, not unlike those used for airplane luggage. Some inflatable toy companies offer multipurpose wheeled duffels that fit many of their inflatable items. The bag, too, is large, reaching nearly 2 feet long, more than 18 inches wide and more than 20 inches high. The cargo is going to add even more to the weight, which is why the wheels are imperative.
