how to clean inflatable moonwalks
Source:     Author:     Posted: 28-06-2016    Views:

An inflatable moonwalk is an inflatable bounce house that is a popular event at carnivals and as a party rental. Children are happy because they are able to jump and do cool tricks and parents approve because their children can tire themselves out without risking injury on hard or pointy surfaces. After the party or carnival is over, the inflatable moonwalk must be cleaned, deflated and properly put away so that it will be ready to roll out for the next event.

1 Sweep the inflatable moonwalk with a broom or hand held vacuum after the event is over. You will likely find dirt, pocket change, buttons and hair elastics that have fallen out of pockets. Be sure to remove your shoes before you enter the inflatable moonwalk to reduce the risk of puncturing the inflatable structure.

2 Unplug the blower from the power source to allow the structure to deflate and pull out the stakes that are holding it to the ground. The structure will deflate most of the way on its own, but you will need to remove your shoes and walk on it to remove the last bit of air. The best way to accomplish this is to begin in the middle and walk towards the outside edges where the air outputs are.

3 Fold the stairs and any other projections inward so that they do not get snagged while the rest of the structure is being packed away. Fold the left and right sides in towards the middle so that they touch and then fold the left side over the right so that you have a stack that is 1/4 the original size. Walk over the stack once more so that you can make sure the maximum amount of air has been removed.

4 Start at one end and begin to roll the structure like you would a jelly roll or a burrito. Continue to roll until you reach the other end. Lay the storage straps flat on the ground and place the rolled up structure on top of them so that they are able to be wrapped around the middle. Wrap the straps around the roll, fasten the buckle or clasp and tighten the adjusters until they are tight enough to not slip during storage. Store the rolled up structure in a dry area until your next party or event.
